The purpose of this assignment is to work alongside EEDA to oversee the delivery of a three year £4.5m investment in skills and knowledge transfer funded by the Rural Development Programme for England (RDPE) 2007-2013 within the East of England. The key focus of the work will be to co-ordinate the delivery partners to ensure outputs are maximized, whilst simultaneously working to develop links between the RDPE funded provision and other delivery opportunities supported by mainstream funding or other project, public sector and commercial sources.

Following operational discussions on the delivery of this programme, it has been decided that it will be funded as a grant agreement, not as a contract as already stated. This will better align our approach with that taken by other regional development agencies and will ensure that we are fully able to meet the requirements of the RDPE programme. The specification and required outputs are not affected by this change.
