This was an invitation to tender for a consultancy assignment for the East of England Development Agency (EEDA). The purpose of this assignment is to deliver a three year £1.1m investment in Vocational skills funded by the Rural Development Programme for England (RDPE) 2007-2013 within the East of England. The key focus of the work will be to deliver a programme of vocational skills to the region's agri-food sector.

Following operational discussions on the delivery of this programme, it has been decided that it will be funded as a grant agreement, not as a contract as already stated. This will better align our approach with that taken by other regional development agencies and will ensure that we are fully able to meet the requirements of the RDPE programme. The specification and required outputs are not affected by this change.
