The notice involves
The University of Nottingham wishes to purchase pre-clinical PET-CT and SPECT-CT imaging systems for imaging animals up to at least the size of rats, with imaging accessories for imaging animals up to the size of rabbits quoted as an option. Separate SPECT-CT and PET-CT systems are required.
Both the PET/CT and SPECT-CT systems must be able to acquire high quality images at a wide range of count rates. The systems must support static and dynamic image acquisition and physiological gating. The system must also provide high quality CT images.
The systems must include suitable accessories for the anaesthetizing, positioning and monitoring of the animals during scanning. Ease of use, in terms of set up and cleaning of these accessories is important.
If available, a system for measuring blood activity concentration should also be offered.
