    The purpose of the contract is the cleaning services to be provided at the Representation of the European Commission and the European Parliament Information Office at Europe House, London (lot 1) and at the European Commission Representation offices in Belfast (lot 2), Cardiff (lot 3) and Edinburgh (lot 4). Only for London, the service includes gardening.

    Principal tasks: the contractor has to provide resources (including staff, cleaning materials and equipment) in order to execute the required services. The contractor also has to provide cleaning services during hours indicated in the annexes to the tender specifications.

    The contract also includes provision of exceptional additional services and exceptional extra services.

    Payment for the services provided (routine schedule of cleaning work plus exceptional additional and extra services) will be made every month in the manner set out in the draft contract, on presentation of a proper invoice drawn up in conformity with national law and of all substantiating documents mentioning the services performed during the month in question, notably the written request of the Parliament and/or the Commission for exceptional additional and/or extra services.

    Tenders may be submitted by groupings of service providers, who will not be required to adopt a specific legal form prior to the contract being awarded. However, a grouping of economic operators must nominate 1 party to be responsible for the receipt and processing of payments for members of the grouping and for management and coordination of the services.
