Information on framework agreement
As required by the provisions of the Environment Act 1995, Fife Council has a statutory duty to carry out periodic reviews and assessments of local air quality. The Council reported on Stage 1 Review and Assessment in January 2001 with supplementary information provided to complete the Second Stage Review and Assessment in July 2001. Following this, in accordance with the review and assessment programme, Fife Council produced Annual Progress Reports in 2004, 2005, 2007 2008 and 2010 plus updating and screening assessments in 2006 and 2009, and requires the services of a consultancy to carry out Annual Progress Reports on air quality in Fife in accordance with the appropriate technical guidance.
