    SHORT DESCRIPTION OF NATURE AND SCOPE OF WORKS

    The Council intends to procure a 5-year contract with up to a 2 years extension for the refurbishment, replacement and up grades of domestic kitchens and electrical installations to the Landlord Services estimated 30 000 council's tenants and leaseholders properties owned by Neighbourhoods Services, Bristol City Council.

    The work will involve the replacement and up grades of between 450 to 800 kitchens and 400 to 650 electrical installations per year.

    The form of contract to be used by this project will be the NEC3 Engineering and Construction contract dated June 2005. Further details to be provided within the P.Q.Q and invitation to tender document.

    Details of the selection and contract award will be published within the P.Q.Q and invitation to tender documents but the overall contract award will be based upon price and quality split.
