Purchase

Main place of delivery Kent County Council, on behalf of the Central Buying Consortium (CBC), has created an accessible agreement for the provision of meat and meat products. This contract will be accessible by all members of the Central Buying Consortium, the London Assembly, members of the South East Improvement and Efficiency Partnership and all local authorities eg Police, Fire & Rescue Service, Ambulance Service, NHS Trusts and all other public bodies operating within these geographical regions including third sector organisations. Current members of CBC are listed at: www.cbconline.org.uk Current members of the London Assembly can be found at www.london.gov.uk/assembly Current members of the South East Improvement & Efficiency Partnership are listed at www.southeastiep.gov.uk Additionally the NHS South East Coast Collaborative Procurement Hub wishes to access the contract from the outset. Hub members can be viewed at www.seccph.nhs.uk Delivery will principally be required to educational establishments, residential homes and hospitals.

Short description of the contract or purchase(s)

This framework agreement is for the supply and delivery of meat and meat products which will include all preparation eg cutting, slicing, dicing and mincing.

The requirement will be for fresh chilled and frozen products and will include beef, lamb & mutton, pork, poultry, bacon, sausages and sausagemeat, beefburgers, cooked meats and game.

A combination of organic, home produced, EU and outside EU meat products will be required.
