    The scope of work described herein commences with the handover of work areas of the retrieval facility to the contractor to allow removal, characterisation and disposal of the combined C3 & C5 extract ventillation systems, balancing ducts between rooms, dampers and controls etc within each facility. This excludes the building supply air and electrical room extract systems which are to remain intact. Each facility houses a number of modular rooms contained within the overbuilding. The roof of each modular room forms the floor for the upper level services area with designated raised walkway areas faced in timber flooring. The overbuilding construction is of steel portal frame with insulated steel cladding walls and pitched roof. The intent of the decommissioning operations is to allow disposal of the Ventilation Systems by the applicable LLWR Limited container and to return the work areas to C0 as at the commencement of the project, thus allowing demolition of the buildings at a future date.
