  The Council will be holding a suppliers day event between the 27th and 30th September 2010 at the Civic Centre, Poulton-Le-Fylde in Lancashire. The event will provide the opportunity to familiarise yourself with the Borough and discuss with the Council the future vision of the services and share ideas of best practice and experience of providing a waste management service in Council’s of a similar nature to Wyre. These discussions will assist the Council in formulating the specification for the new contract. The session will be on a one to one basis with Council specialists in a closed session. The meeting will last a maximum of one and half hours. The council will ensure that the event will be open, transparent and remain confidential. If you would like to attend the supplier day, then please email Allan Williams (awilliams@wyrebc.gov.uk) only with your details to book a slot. Please do not send any sales material with your email. Bookings must be made no later than by 17:00 on the 17th September if places are to be guaranteed.
