SECTION II: OBJECT OF THE CONTRACT
DFG/6003 - Enabling contract for the supply and delivery of Bulk and Drummed F-18, and Drummed F-34, to Units in UK.

II.1.4)
Information on framework agreement
Fuels. An enabling contract for the supply and delivery of 2 types of aviation fuel to MOD units in UK. The Contract Period will be 2 years plus a possible option year, to be placed at the discretion of the Authority.
The preferred option is to place the whole requirement with one supplier. If this cannot be achieved, more than one contract could be placed on a location and/or product basis.
Fuels required:
Bulk and Drummed F-18, Gasoline, Aviation Grade 100/130, AVGAS 100LL to DEFSTAN 91-90 (latest issue).
Drummed F-34, Turbine Fuel, Aviation Kerosene Type with FSII, AVTUR FSII, to DEFSTAN 91-87 (latest issue).
NOTE: No fuel shall be supplied under any resultant contract which contains synthetic components as detailed at Annex C of DEFSTAN 91-87 (latest issue).

All products will be demanded directly by units, giving 3 working days notice of delivery. The demanded loads will be most typically between 3 500-15 000 litres. Demand may fluctuate according to seasonal activities, such as exercise periods, or Christmas Leave. More detailed information about pattern of demand based on historical data will be provided in the ITT.
Applicable QA Standards: AQAP 2130 which will require the submission of a Quality Management Plan for review. Compliance with AQAP 2130 may be demonstrated through an ISO 9000 type certification.
Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs) will be issued where deemed necessary.
