    Blackpool Council is looking to award a contract to provide a direct delivery of fresh milk to Blackpool Council establishments, including milk 1/3rds and kitchen milk.

    Blackpool Council will not accept minimum order quantities either by quantity or value.

    — The composition of milk supplied to the Authority must comply with the current drinking milk (England) Regulations or equivalent,

    — It is preferable that any product supplied for Blackpool Council’s educational establishments fully comply with the school food trust voluntary code of practice for drinks provided in schools,

    — All materials and articles used in the production and packaging of the product shall conform to the relevant food regulations covering food contact materials.

    Delivery frequency to be every working day.

    Delivery window to be 0700 – 1000.

    Delivery Details.

    Full addresses of all units will be sent as a separate attachment within the Tender documentation, to summarise:

    — 33 Primary Schools,

    — 7 Secondary Schools,

    — 5 Council premises,

    — Up to 8 Social Services premises.

    Premises may be added/deleted at any time.

    Central drops will not be an option for consideration.

    Requirements include:

    — Milk 1/3rds cartons (semi skimmed) - all Milk 1/3rds cartons must include a drinking straw,

    — Some Omega 3 enhanced milk,

    — Mostly semi skimmed and whole milk for use in kitchens.

    (b) is not the subject of proceedings for a declaration of bankruptcy, or for an order for compulsory winding up or administration by the court or for an arrangement with creditors or of any other similar proceedings under National laws and regulations;

    (c) has not been convicted of an offence concerning his professional conduct by a judgment which has the force of res judicata (i.e. a matter which has already been conclusively decided by a court);

    (2) A certificate issued by the competent authority in The Member State concerned, or a declaration on oath or by a solemn declaration made before a competent authority, a notary or a competent professional or trade body, to the effect that the bidder has fulfilled its obligations relating to the payment of taxes and social security contributions in accordance with the legal provisions of the country in which the bidder is established;

    (3) A certificate, declaration under oath, or solemn declaration providing proof that the bidder is enrolled on the professional or trade registers of his country of establishment, or where no such register exists a declaration under oath or solemn declaration that he exercises the particular profession or trade.
