    The House of Commons Catering & Retail Service (CRS) requires the supply of Meat, Poultry, Game, & Associated Products to be delivered for use in our many varied restaurants and catering outlets. Due to the diversity of our dining facilities along with the subsidies we offer, a large selection of quality, good value product is required throughout the Parliamentary estate. The requirement will encompass all fresh meat, poultry, and game products along with some associated meat products including (but not limited to) bacon, sausages, offal & bones, cured meats, and pates etc (although some imported charcuterie will fall under a separate delicatessen contract). CRS is looking to appoint a small core of suppliers of no more than three who can all demonstrate they have the ability to supply most or all of these fresh products of a suitably high quality on a regular basis at competitive prices to meet the varying requirements of the different types of catering outlets and functions.

    Below is a brief indication of our current frequently ordered items and outlining provenance:

    British Beef, British Lamb, British Pork, English Rose Veal, Dutch Veal, Offal, English reared and cured Bacon, Sausages, English Poultry, British Game.

    The Catering and Retail Services (CRS) of the House of Commons is responsible for the operation of a wide range of catering facilities throughout the Parliamentary Estate including fine dining, banqueting, brasserie, and cafeteria services to the Members of Parliament, their staff, guests, and staff of the House of Commons, serving on average 7,000 meals each day.
