The contracting authorities will be seeking an innovative private sector partner or partners to participate and invest in a new Public Private Partnership vehicle (a "Local Education Partnership" or "LEP") to be established jointly with some or all the contracting authorities as identified in section II.7 below. The LEP may be required to provide (or arrange for the provision of), Partnering Services, the development of Major Capital Projects and Project Services (together the “Servicesâ€). Further and fuller details will be set out in the Contract Notice and the accompanying contract documents to be issued in due course.

As indicated in section II.3 above there will be an open day held on 21st April 2010 at County Hall, West Bridgford Nottingham NG2 7QP. If you wish to attend this open day you must in the first instance contact John True at the address shown in Section I.1. You will then be provided with full details of the day and places will be reserved. In addition to procuring on its own behalf Nottinghamshire County Council is acting as lead contracting authority on behalf of the following contracting authorities (and their statutory successors and organisations created as a result of re-organisation or organisational changes):

— The following educational bodies based or who are active in the provision of educational facilities in Nottinghamshire: School Governing Bodies; Voluntary Aided Schools; Diocesan authorities, the Samworth Church Academy Mansfield, the Sutton Academy proposed to be built in Sutton in Ashfield and Academies established or to be established in the area of Nottinghamshire, City Technology Colleges, Foundation Schools, Foundation.
Partnerships or similar educational bodies;
— Learning and Skills Council (and successor bodies the Young Peoples Learning Agency and the Skills Funding Agency); and,
