NHS 24 invites experienced and competent service suppliers for information in relation to the:
Provision of a solution with the following capabilities:
— call handling and call management,
— contact (patient) record management,
— electronic enablement of clinical decision support algorithms,
— knowledge management to provide a directory of available health and related services across Scotland,
— knowledge management to provide associated health information, and to support identification of the most relevant service options based on caller (patient) location and other relevant factors such as journey time and service status,
— support the use of a 3rd party management information reporting solution,
— ability to integrate the proposed solution to and from external partners, and
— associated services include detailed design, implementation, integration, data migration, training, support and maintenance.
Provision of managed services:
— Provision of managed services in respect of the NHS24 service desk, fixed voice networks, data networks covering WAN and LAN, desktop and laptop requirements, application hosting services and applications support services. All services must be delivered on-site in Scotland.
A request for information (RFI) document has been produced and will be issued to all potential service providers on request. Requests for RFI document, should be forwarded in writing, by fax or email to the address in section I.1.
