    Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking expressions of interest for the supply of bituminous macadam to sites within the Rotherham area.

    The anticipated total spend is in the region of 5 500 000 (GBP) for the whole duration of the agreement (including extension periods).

    The framework will be awarded initially for a period of 3 years, with the option to extend at the sole discretion of RMBC for a further two 12 month periods, each on a year by year basis.

    The intention is to award to a sole supplier, however if one supplier cannot meet the council's requirements then it will be awarded to additional participant(s).

    All suppliers who wish to be considered for this tender must register on the SCMS system and electronically complete and upload the pre tender questionnaire document onto the system no later than Monday 29.3.2010 (17:00). All pre tender questionnaires must be returned through the system and will not be accepted by any other means.

    The agreement is initially for a period of 36 months with the option to extend at the sole discretion of RMBC for a further two 12 month periods, each on a year by year basis, with a total value of 5 500 000 GBP (including extensions). However this does not carry any guarantee of turnover and that any estimated volumes of business are indicative and may vary upwards and downwards depending on actual future needs.

    All suppliers who wish to be considered for this tender must register on the SCMS system and electronically complete and upload the Pre-Tender Questionnaire document onto the SCMS system no later than Monday 29.3.2010 (17:00). All pre-tender questionnaires must be returned through the system and will not be accepted by any other means.
