  3 requirements included in tender :

  Requirement 1 - Supply and delivery of public library books to Public Library Services and library books to schools which will cover the undernoted categories of books :

  Adult fiction- estimated contract value per annum GBP 120 000.

  Adult non fiction- estimated contract value per annum GBP 40 000.

  Junior - estimated contract value per annum GBP 30 000.

  Library books for schools - estimated contract value per annum GBP 17 000.

  Requirement 2 - supply and delivery of textbooks estimated contract value per annum GBP 73 000.

  Requirement 3 - supply and delivery of publications. - estimated contract value per annum GBP 1 000 to GBP 10 000.

  Tenderers may submit a bid for only 1, 2 or all of the requirements noted above. In respect of Requirement 1, tenderers may submit a bid for only one, two or all of the categories. Bids however must be for complete categories only.

  Renfrewshire Council reserves the right to award a Contract to one Contractor for all requirements, to award a Contractor per requirement, to award a Contractor for all categories of requirement 1 or to award a Contract to a Contractor per category of requirement 1 or not to accept any offer.

  Award Criteria.

  Requirement 1 : library books.

  — Discount offered (adult fiction 28 %, adult non-fiction 10 %, junior 7 %) - 45 %,

  — Processing costs - 15 %,

  — Ability/quality of statement billing - 10 %,

  — Value added services - 5 %,

  — Quality of stock holding access - 5 %,

  — Quality of selection support - 10 %,

  — Methodology & approach - 5 %,

  — Presentation - 5 %.

  Requirement 2 : textbooks.

  — Discount offered - 85 %,

  — Processing costs - 5 %,

  — Methodology & approach - 5 %,

  — Value added services - 5 %.

  Requirement 3 : publications.
