NHS Wiltshire CCG has commissioned a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) for children and young people in Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon, and Wiltshire.

An Integrated (tier 2 & 3) Community CAMHS is being commissioned for Bath & North East Somerset and Wiltshire only. Swindon is commissioning a Tier 3 CAMHS service only. Should Swindon commission Tier 2 services via this contract at a later date, the value of the contract will be increased proportionally.

The contract start date will be 1st April 2018. The contract duration will be for an initial period of 7 years, with the option to extend by any number of further periods up to a maximum of 3 years.

The annual value of the contract is 9,634,000 GBP per annum, with a total contract lifecycle value of 67,438,000 GBP over 7 years, and a possible extension of an additional 3 years.

This procurement was carried out by NHS South, Central & West Commissioning Support Unit (SCW) on behalf of the Commissioners.

Description of the procurement:

The Services are healthcare services within the meaning and scope of Annex XIV of Directive 2014/24/EU ("the Directive") and Schedule 3 to the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 ("the Regulations"). The tendering process will be conducted in accordance with the requirements and flexibilities provided by Articles 74 to 76 of the Directive, and Regulations 74 to 76 of the Regulations.

The Authority will run a transparent tender process, treating all bidders equally. For the avoidance of doubt, the Authority will not be bound by the Regulations or the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union or any other regulations or legislation except for the specific parts or circumstances that apply to the procurement of these Services.
