Short description:

Highways England is changing the way it provides current maintenance across a number of regions within England. Highways England is looking at procuring a series of new contracts, directly with the supply chain (including SMEs), that provides specialist services such as technical surveys and testing required to maintain our asset. Regions requiring these services are located within the North East/North West (Area 13 and 14), East Midlands (Area 7) and Devon/Cornwall (Areas 1 and 2). The efficient maintenance of the asset will rely upon Highways England being able to quickly procure the investigatory work needed to determine and test asset condition.
