Security services. The Authority has a requirement to provide site protection for two MoD Establishments in Northern Ireland that are held by Defence Infrastructure Organisation pending disposal.
The establishments range from office accommodation, HQ and storage facilities. The contractor shall provide site protection including mobile patrols 24 hours 7 days a week.
TUPE may apply to this requirement.
Potential bidders are invited to submit an Expression of Interest by no later than 9.10.2012. Late or incomplete expressions will not be accepted. All bidders shall provide evidence of their SIA. Membership.
This process is without commitment and is for the sole purpose of allowing industry to register an interest in providing these services. On completion of this process, the Authority will select the companies to be included in the distribution list for the invitation to tender.
A maximum of 5 companies shall be invited to tender. If more than 5 companies express an interest, then companies shall be selected on the basis of their response to the following evaluation criteria. Evidence must be submitted by the 9.10.2012:
A) Evidence of the organisations mission, size and structure. This evidence should include a copy of the organisations most recent financial accounts;
B) Evidence of the Methods of ensuring the quality of the service, in meeting the needs of the customer and keeping it fully up to date with current practice;
C) Details of any site protection services carried out with either MOD or Other Government Departments (OGD) within the last 3 years;
D) Details of work covering site protection services carried out with Private Sector companies within the last 3 years.
Companies are advised that if they have recently submitted similar evidence for other requirements, they should make reference to this in their response to this advertisement, including the appropriate reference number and contact details of the individual to whom the information was sent.
Site visits may be held Mid October 2012. The Authority will advise on this matter in due Course. Only companies invited to tender may attend. The Authority will not be responsible for any Travel and Subsistence costs.
