II.2.1) Total quantity or scope:
Network Rail has already successfully implemented a risk based maintenance approach for a number of signalling assets, and is seeking to extend and increase its application on all other in-scope assets. In order to achieve this, we need to increase our awareness, technical delivery and mentoring capability.
To support the delivery of Network rails risk based maintenance programme the following specialist services are required:
1. Reliability centred maintenance appreciation training (1 day)
2. Reliability centred maintenance awareness training (2 days)
3. Facilitator training (10 days)
4. Mentoring of facilitators
5. Competent facilitators to facilitate reliability centred maintenance workshops
Training shall be compliant with industry standard SAE JA 1011 to avoid introducing new risks to current embedded RCM process.
The training will be aimed at various people ranging from Professional Heads approving revised maintenance regimes to section managers involved in implementation to realise the benefits.
