      Northumberland County Council is seeking to appoint a partner organisation to undertake property-related repairs and maintenance (responsive repairs, planned and cyclical maintenance, statutory testing and inspections – all trades) and some minor improvement works to its property portfolio. The Council’s current property portfolio comprises of approximately 800 assets.

      The Council Property Services team will control, monitor and oversee the contract to ensure the Council’s interests are maintained. The works to be undertaken through this contract will cover a range of portfolio types: schools, libraries, fire stations, leisure centres, care homes, social service offices, highways depots, general administrative buildings, etc.

      The services to be provided through this contract comprise the delivery of all responsive repairs, including emergency out-of-hours cover, 365 days per year.

      Northumberland County Council is seeking to appoint a partner organisation for a period of 3 years (with an option to extend for a further 1 year) to undertake property-related repairs and maintenance (responsive repairs, planned and cyclical maintenance, statutory testing and inspections – all trades) and some minor improvement works to its property portfolio. The procurement exercise is seeking to determine the most efficient and economic format for delivery of the service.
