For the past two years, DCB has benefitted from the delivery of a coherent PR initiative based around establishing DigitalCity as a credible and vibrant digital hub, with genuine relevance on the local, regional, national and international stages. The
manner of its delivery allowed DCB to benefit from opportunities as they presented themselves, and was flexible enough to incorporate new developments at DigitalCity, across the Tees Valley and the North East, and nationally. With a budget of circa £30,000
pa it has produced outstanding results, with press locally, regionally and nationally, and with an ROI using standard AVE calculations of 20:1. With its new ERDF project, DCB wishes to further develop its PR activities alongside a PR organisation that can
build on the progress and achievements of the past two years, maintain the outstanding success [including ROI], and further develop DigitalCity as the UK’s most vibrant digital hub. Subject to ERDF funding being approved DCB wishes to run contract PR activities
for the next two and a half years from October 2012 through to March 2015. The purpose of this Tender is to appoint a suitably experienced individual or organisation to deliver PR activities.
