NHS Derby City Primary Care Trust (Public Health) invites all suitably qualified, experienced and interested providers to participate in a workshop to discuss the provision of behaviour change/lifestyle services in Derby City.
The aim of the proposed integrated service is to improve the quality of the patient experience by providing a service that supports behaviour change regarding weight management, diet, smoking, alcohol and physical activity.
NHS Derby City Primary Care Trust is committed to the continual improvement of all of its services, and is keen to seek views from all interested providers on the development of future services for the proposed lifestyle service, which will be achieved through the development of a robust service specification.
This event will bring together local commissioners and providers like yourself who may be interested in providing the future service for residents within Derby.
The new contract(s) is expected to commence on 1.4.2013, for a period of 3 years, following a competitive tender process.
The workshop will take place on Tuesday 24th July commencing at 9.30 am at Derby YMCA, London Road, Wilmorton, DE24 8UT. Their website address is http://www.ymcaderbyshire.org.uk if you wish to obtain further details of the venue.
