Spiral Health was formed as a community interest company in September 2010. The primary purpose was to take over the provision of in-patient intermediate care and rehabilitation services formerly provided by Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation
Trust. The transfer of services was completed on 1 April 2012. Spiral Health CIC now operates as an independent company with the NHS Foundation Trust being its one principal customer. Spiral Health is prioritising securing sources of income by expanding its
customer base and funding streams. This includes identifying opportunities to pilot new initiatives; responding to tender opportunities; and maximising income from existing resources. A Supplier will be appointed to deliver services to Spiral Health in the

Finder Advert to allow any interested suppliers to seek clarification before the final Invitation to Tender is issued. Once suppliers have emailed their Expression of Interest to the Spot Buy Mailbox, they will be provided with the additional appendices of
the draft requirement. These appendices will be issued to Potential Suppliers (on request) on the basis that they are maintained in the strictest of confidence. Potential Suppliers must destroy any electronic and/or hard copies if either you do not wish to
tender or after the Contract has been awarded to the successful supplier. Final Tender documentation will be sent on 3 July 2012, via the Dynamic Marketplace, to all parties that have expressed an interest in this opportunity by close of play on 2 July 2012.
