The Medical & General Supplies Project Team (M&GS PT) is part of the Defence Equipment & Support (DE&S) Organisation and part of it’s role is to provide general supplies and stores to the UK Armed Forces. M&GS has a requirement for the supply of Pan Drains,
NATO Stock Number (NSN) 4910-99-1292086. Period of Contract: The Authority envisages placing a 2 year Enabling Contract to meet this requirement. Financial Ability: The Applicant’s financial ability to meet this requirement will be assessed on a risk basis
and the Applicant’s financial accounts will be evaluated by the Authority. Applicants who present an unacceptable financial risk to the Authority will not qualify. Quality Assurance: Applicant’s must hold appropriate Quality Assurance Certification as requested
below. Applicants that do not hold appropriate certification will not qualify. Transparency, Freedom of Information and Environmental Information Regulations Applicants should be aware that, should they be awarded the Contract, the content of the Contract
will be published by the MOD to the general public in line with government policy set out in the Prime Minister’s letter of May 2010 (http://www.number10.gov.uk/news/statements-and-articles/2010/05/letter-t....)
Suppliers expressing interest in this requirement are required to: a. Provide a copy of current BS EN ISO 9001:2008 or equivalent Quality Assurance accreditation certificate. The certification must include appropriate scope to cover the supply of this type
of item. b. Provide copies of last 2 years Audited accounts c. Confirm that they are content to trade via the Authority’s Purchase to Payment (P2P) System Note that the Authority may use this information to down-select to those Companies invited to tender
for the requirement; therefore suppliers will not be considered for this requirement where they do not provide the information requested. However the Authority may still elect to conduct a formal pre qualification exercise. Estimated Value: £72,000 Vat Ex.
Duration: from placement of contract. 2 years (estimated end date September 2014)
