Central-heating installation work. The Works comprise two elements 1) responsive repairs, annual gas servicing works and the installation of new gas fired heating and hot water equipment to the housing stock managed by Brent Housing Partnership (BHP) in the London Borough of Brent. The housing stock covered by this part of the contract consists of approximately 9000 dwellings ranging from single units to high rise tower blocks; 2) Servicing, repairs, breakdowns and minor works to district heating and associated services (communal heating systems, communal hot water systems, and gas and oil installations from meter to communal plant and electrical controls wiring from panel isolators to communal plant), in the London Borough of Brent which are managed by BHP. The housing stock currently covered by this part of the contract consists of approximately 1038 dwellings served by 23 boiler houses, mainly gas but also oil and solar powered hot water systems. There will be 3 lots: Lot 1 will be domestic appliances in the north of the borough, Lot 2 will be domestic appliances in the south of the borough and Lot 3 will be communal heating and hot water services for the whole borough - full details will be included in the tender documents. Contractors must tender for all three lots. One contractor could be awarded all 3 lots or two contractors will be awarded Lot 1 and Lot 2. Lot 3 will be awarded to one of the contractors awarded Lot 1 or 2. BHP requires contractors to have a turnover of at least 3 times the annual contract value therefore a minimum annual turnover of 3.78m GBP is required. VI.4.2) Lodging of appeals
Precise information on deadline(s) for lodging appeals: The contracting authority will observe a minimum 10 calendar day standstill period running from the day after communication to tenderers of the authority’s intended award decision. This is to allow unsuccessful tenderers to obtain further information before the contract is entered into.
