Description

The GMC uses the services of recruitment agencies for the provision of some temporary and permanent staff. We are inviting tenders for the supply of permanent and temporary Procurement, HR, Finance and Facilities Management roles.

This will be broken down into two lots:

Lot A is for the supply of permanent staff and temporary workers to our Manchester office.

Lot B is for the supply of permanent staff and temporary workers to our London office.

This lot covers a broad spectrum of roles including HR adviser, Management Accountant, Financial Improvement Officer, Procurement Analyst, Facilities Manager amongst others.

We expect to award contracts to two providers, one per lot, who can supply each location with all disciplines. However, no guarantees of any work or particular volumes of work will ensue in relation to the appointment of the panel.

On average in 2011, we had 87 temporary workers per month across both Manchester and London. This includes both long-term and short-term cover assignments. Providers should note that our strategic objective is to reduce costs without impacting on our operational
requirements.

In the main, the GMC recruits for permanent or fixed-term staff directly seeking agency support for specific roles.
