Description

Middlesbrough Council are seeking expressions of interest from suitably experienced Providers who wish to be considered for a contract for the provision of a Through The Gate Service, which will provide housing related support to people who have a history
of re-offending, insecure housing, homelessness and wider social exclusion. The Service is being commissioned on behalf of NOMS Public Sector Prisons North East and the Regional Homelessness Group, which comprises of representatives from Durham, Sunderland,
Newcastle, North Tyneside, South Tyneside, Gateshead, Northumberland, Middlesbrough, Stockton, Darlington, Redcar and Cleveland and Hartlepool Local Authorities. The service will operate cross authority, supporting people who are currently in prison and are
due for release to the North East Region. The contract will be for a period of 2 years. The contract will be awarded on the basis of price and quality, the Most Economically Advantageous Tender, and it is anticipated that the contract will commence in November
2012. The contract is subject to European Procurement Legislation. The Council will be using a full electronic tendering system and for inclusion on the select tender list suppliers must obtain a pre-qualification questionnaire which will require amongst other
things, information about professional and business standing and financial standing. The pre-qualification questionnaire can be obtained from the North East Purchasing Organisation (NEPO) portal via https://www.qtegov.com/procontract/supplier.nsf If you feel
