Additionally, the contracting authority may require the contractor to recover other sundry debt (for example in relation to commercial waste, building control surveyors’ inspection fees and premises licensing) up to the point at which it becomes necessary to refer the debt to litigation.

It is anticipated that the Invitation to Tender will be dispatched during September 2012. The contract will commence on or around 1.3.2013. The estimated value of the contract of 600 000 GBP - 1 400 000 GBP is for the total possible contract period of four years.
The services are in fact Part B services and as such the contracting authority need not advertise pursuant to the Regulations in this matter. However the contract is to be awarded adopting the spirit of the Public Procurement regime. This notice is issued so as to increase competition and so that the procurement process is conducted in an open and fair manner. The submission of the notice is not an indication that the contracting authority considers the services to be Part A services and accordingly the contracting authority shall not necessarily be restricted to the Regulations exclusive to Part A services.
