Knowsley MBC is inviting companies to express interest in a tender for adhoc installation of Structured Cat 5/5E/6 and fibre optic cabling within Council sites. The Council operates a high-speed Community Information Network (CIN) connecting all schools, libraries, leisure centres, resource centres and council offices. This tender relates to the upgrade and enhancements of the local area networks within the 150 sites connected to the CIN.
The proposed contract will be for an initial period of 3 years commencing the 1.1.2013. This will be subject to quarterly operational reviews and a full contract review after 12 months. There is an option to extend the contract for a further 24 months beyond the initial contracted period.
