A virtual classroom is an online teaching and learning space in which seminars/lectures and tutorials can be conducted in real time and with students attending from multiple geographic locations, multiple time zones and using a variety of technical platforms and connection methods.
The University is looking for a Hosted Service. That is, a virtual classroom will be provided as a service to the University by the Supplier, hosting the product underpinning the service on their own infrastructure, and integrating with the University systems for Data and Authentication as specified in the tender.
