The University of Edinburgh requires Taxation Advice and a range of related services and proposes to award a contract for a period of 2 years, which may be extended to 4 years, all subject to annual performance review, with a 3-month termination notice period.
This will include ensuring the provision of high quality, reliable and cost-effective taxation advice and related services to the University, and, at their sole discretion, to such of its subsidiary companies through the award of a contract to the service provider for specific taxation and related services.
The supplier will be engaged to provide advice at the request, and under the direction of, nominated UOE representatives relating primarily to interpretation and application of UK tax law specifically as it applies to UK Higher Education Institutions.
The appointed organisation (the Appointee) will cover the following scope of work with or on behalf of UOE (the Client):
— Advice on Direct Tax, Corporation Tax, VAT and other indirect taxes to UOE and its nominated subsidiary companies,
— Assistance with preparation and submission of Corporation tax returns for the University and its nominated subsidiary companies.
